What materials are used to make Otto?Premium bio-based cactus leather, high-density structural foam, precision-machined metal joints, and a smooth, skin-like silicone frame finish. We chose cactus leather for both how it feels and what it represents—conscious design that doesn’t ask you to compromise on luxury.

Is Otto comfortable for long periods of lounging?That’s the entire point. Most folding furniture sacrifices comfort, and most comfortable furniture sacrifices space. Otto was designed to provide the comfort of a dedicated lounge chair while remaining compact enough for modern living. Its curved frame, ergonomic suspension system, and high-density cushioning are designed to support relaxed sitting for reading, working on a laptop, watching movies, or simply doing nothing at all.

Why is Otto different from other folding furniture?Most folding furniture is designed to save space first and prioritize comfort second. Otto was designed the other way around. Comfort came first. The ability to fold came second. The result is a true lounge chair when open, yet one that can quietly step aside when life asks for a little more room.

What is your return policy?Every Otto includes a 60-day in-home trial. We recommend spending at least 14 days with the chair before making a decision, as furniture often feels different once you’ve lived with it for a while.

If Otto isn’t the right fit, returns are accepted between Day 15 and Day 60, provided the chair is returned in its original packaging.

Where do you ship?We currently ship worldwide. For most destinations, shipping, duties, customs fees, and taxes are included in the purchase price, so there are no surprise charges waiting at your door.

If I damage a panel, do I need to replace the whole chair?Not at all. One of Otto’s core design principles is repairability. Individual panels can be replaced separately, helping extend the life of the chair while reducing unnecessary waste.

Is Otto suitable for tall users?Otto comfortably accommodates a wide range of body types. Because the seating surface is generous and flexible, users of different heights can settle into the chair comfortably.

That said, comfort is personal. It often comes down to where you prefer the chair to support your back and body. To help you judge for yourself, we feature people of different heights using Otto and indicate their approximate height whenever possible.

What is the maximum weight capacity?Otto is designed to support users up to 300 lbs (136 kg). Like any lounge chair, it is intended for normal seated use and is not designed for standing or jumping.

How flat does Otto fold?Down to a slim 15 cm profile and approximately 25 cm wide at the base—roughly the footprint of a stack of magazines.

Is Otto heavy or difficult to move?Otto weighs approximately 22 lbs (10 kg). It’s substantial enough to feel stable, yet light enough to move easily using the integrated rollers.

For short distances, the hidden rollers allow Otto to glide smoothly across most indoor flooring surfaces.

Although we didn’t design Otto for travel, we’ve found ourselves taking it to unexpected places. It folds flat and is easy to carry when needed (a carrying case is coming soon).
